Beta-Glucanase


Beta-Glucanase is produced by deep submerged fermentation. It can effectively catalyze the breakdown of beta-glucan in plant feed materials, improve the utilization of energy, crude protein, amino acid and other nutruitions of feedstuff.

Beta-Glucanase is produced by deep submerged fermentation. It can effectively catalyze the breakdown of beta-glucan in plant feed materials, improve the utilization of energy, crude protein, amino acid and other nutruitions of feedstuff.

Definition of Activity:

One Beta-Glucanase unit is defined as the amount of enzyme which hydrolyzes 4mg/mL β-Glucose to get 1μmol of reducing sugar in 1 minute at 37°C and pH5.5 under the condition of the test.

The Anti-nutritional Effects of Glucan:

a. High contents of beta-glucan in plant cell wall hindered the diffusion of nutrition, reduced the utilization of nutrients;

b. In animal intestine, beta-gucan in conjunction with moisture, which increased the intestional digest viscosity, reduced diffusion ratio of nutrition and reduced the digestibility of nutrients;

c. Beta-glucan and glycoprotein stuck to the small intestinal epithelial mucosal cells, hindered the absorption nutrition and increased the burden of digestive organs.

Function:

a. Break down the structure of plant cell wall; release the nutrients inside and improving the utilization efficiency of feedstuff.

b. Degrade glucans, thus efficiently decrease chime viscosity and increase the nutritive value of feed.

c. Increase the utilization of endogenous digestive enzymes, enhance chime passing through intestinal tracts and promote the digestibility and utilization efficiency of feed.

d. Increase the usage of wheat bran, wheat middling’s and other plant feedstuff, thus reduce feed costs.

e. Improve digestion and absorption of nutrient substances in animal feed, adjust the immunizing ability and enhance the anti-stress ability of animals.

f. Increase daily weight gain and reduce feed conversion ratio.

g. Reduce the nutrient substances in animal manure so as to reduce pollution to the environment.
